The full trailer for VisionQuest has been released online ahead of the conclusion of the epic television trilogy from Marvel Studios, dropping later this year.
The logline for the show reads, “Vision (Paul Bettany), rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponise him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious boy who may be Vision’s son, reincarnate. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron’s influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he’s to survive.”

It looks to conclude the series of stories started in 2021 with WandaVision, before Agatha All Along was released in 2024. It also promises to tackle some interesting mysteries of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Ultron (James Spader) quipping in the trailer, “That dead witch really did a number on you.” There have been plenty of rumours about Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) appearing in Avengers: Doomsday, so perhaps VisionQuest will give us further insight into whether that will happen or not!
The rest of the cast includes Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy, James D’Arcy as Jarvis, along with Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan. It was created by Terry Matalas.
VisionQuest premieres with two episodes on October 14, followed by weekly episodes on Disney+.
