Prime Video has released the trailer for the upcoming holiday heist adventure, The Man With The Bag, which is being released in time for Christmas.
It tells the story of a rogue elf with a grudge (Awkwafina) stealing Santa’s (Arnold Schwarzenegger) iconic red bag, putting Christmas at risk. With his biggest night of the year fast-approaching, Santa recruits a thief (Alan Ritchson) from his ‘Naughty List’ who quickly assembles a crew of criminally skilled misfits, with a little help from elves and reindeer, to pull off the most unexpected heist of their lives.

The film’s being described as being packed with holiday magic, big laughs, and plenty of heart, which is perfect for this time of year. It also features Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski and Ken Jeong. It’s being directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) from a script by Allan Rice.
It’s been really fun seeing Ritchson do all sorts of different movies recently, with Playdate and Runner showing he still has his comedic side after a long run in the incredibly popular Reacher series. Ritchson first became well known for his role as Thad Castle in Spike TV’s Blue Mountain State. It was so popular with audiences that a feature film was released years after its initial cancellation. He went on to be in several interesting roles, from Hank Hall in Titans to being the voice of Raphael in the most recent live action adaptations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Man With The Bag is on Prime Video from the 2nd December.
