According to Deadline, heavily delayed Apple TV show, The Savant, will finally release in spring 2027, although an exact date is not confirmed at this stage.
It was originally due to premiere in September 2025, but was delayed just before it was due to premiere after the assassination of right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk. At the time, this decision caused a lot of friction between the star of the show, Jessica Chastain and the streaming service after Chastain disagreed with the postponement. There was a lot of doubt whether the series would ever be released, but it now appears Apple TV are going in line with making the show eligible for the 2027 Emmys.
