Amelia Dimoldenberg (Chicken Shop Date) and Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats) are the latest confirmed guest hosts for upcoming Season 2 episodes of Saturday Night Live UK.
The announcement comes as Jeff Goldblum prepares to host the premiere of the season this weekend. They will host the second and third episodes of the season, with Royal Blood joining Demetriou and Rachel Chinouriri joining Dimoldenberg as the musical guests. Goldblum is being joined by the legendary CMAT for the first episode. Interestingly, Demetriou was involved in the first season as a consultant, having previously collaborated with head writer Daran Jonno Johnson. This should mean we should be in for a good episode, with the cast already likely to know him. I’m particularly interested to see how Dimoldenberg does as a host. She’s been absolutely brilliant as a Red Carpet Interviewer for the Oscars in recent years, and has made the sad announcement recently that Chicken Shop Date is going to finish airing soon.

All 11 members of the brilliant inaugural cast are confirmed to be returning with one extra addition, Freddie Meredith. Those cast members are: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
Broadcast live each week, the series returns to our screens on the 12th September. Every episode will see a different celebrity host and musical guest, alongside topical sketches, live music performances and Weekend Update.
SNL UK returns to Sky and the streaming service NOW on the 12th September with the first six episodes, with additional shows planned in early 2027.
